The wedding reception will take place near Sitges, Spain. Sitges is a small coastal town about 30 minutes west from Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) and 45 minutes from Barcelona City Center. From BCN airport, there are trains (€4-5) and busses (€7-10) available to Sitges, or you can take a local taxi (€60-80).

Consider booking your flights early, as ticket prices can increase as you get closer to the date. If you are traveling from the United States, given the time difference, we recommend arriving the day before the wedding weekend kick off to allow for jet lag and potential delays. Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates, as required by Schengen visa rules.

We will be providing transportation to and from our wedding events, with a detailed schedule of transportation (including pick-up/drop-off times and locations) that will be shared closer to the date.

A rental car is not necessary, and there are frequent trains running to and from Barcelona every day as well as local taxis are available for hire. We recommend downloading Google Maps offline and using apps like “Moovit” or “Renfe” for public transit. Uber is not widely used in Sitges; local taxis are usually hailed via phone or taxi stand.

The bride and groom will be staying at Hotel ME Sitges Terramar, and we would love to have all of our guests stay with us! We recommend checking in on Saturday, and checking out on Tuesday.
